In my spare time, I’m a diver, cyclist and board gamer.

INTRODUCTION

In 1980...

...Splash! My mom’s water broke! I was supposed to be born in Campos do Jordão, if it weren’t for my recently-licensed driving aunt, who brought me to São Paulo in a bumpy with some new dents in the car. So, I’m paulistano.

When I was a kid, I would bother my mother, who was trying to watch her favorite shows, asking her to make me countless drawings – farms, cars, animals... And the only way for me to stay in preschool was the principal’s drawing me animals – she was my second mother in the drawing.

When I was 18 years old, after many artistic influences, I went to college to study MARINE BIOLOGY (What??) with quite romantic typically teen expectations. I hoped to open people’s eyes to the problems of the world with pictures, documentaries, expeditions, discoveries, etc. I used my drawing skills only for my microscopy class reports and, in the sleepy ones, caricaturing the professors. Although at the time I didn’t admit drawing as a profession, my classmates would tell me jokingly: “What are you doing here? Go work for Disney!”. Because of such advice, I decided to take up many drawing, comics, and painting courses. But it was still just as a hobby.

With time, I realized that Biology alone would not make fulfill my ambitions. I waited until I graduated and then decided to add COMMUNICATION studies to my CV. Who knows? Maybe by joining the communication sciences, I would reach more people with my ideals.

I took one year of JOURNALISM at Mackenzie University and realized that wasn’t quite the type of communication that would help me achieve my personal and professional goal; it was close, though. So finally, in 2003, after extensive research in communication, I started considering visual arts as a possibility. I started the GRAPHICS DESIGN program at the Fine Arts University of São Paulo. That’s when changes started to happen.

In those years at Fine Arts, I was wide-eyed... BINGO! From now on, I will let my story be told by the Testimonials of those who worked with me, the description of my Skills, my Curriculum Vitae, and the projects presented on this website. You need only click on the keys below!

Bon voyage!
